Anyway, when I pick you up from JFK in 2 weeks I want to go to Flatbush too....and the garden of eatin'....I've never been to a diner. It is one of those American things I've only seen in the movies. I just spend a week on 'The Metro Trip.' We got a thorough tour of Flatbush. Jews were all over Manhattan and eastward, especially in the diamond district. As one Aish Rabbi put it. "Jews don't control the media. We control the world!" We then spend the Shabbos in Lawrence and based on what we saw, all Orthodox Jews are rich. New York is great. I just spend a week on ‘The Metro Trip.’ We got a thorough tour of Flatbush.

No way. I was in Flatbush, the land of rabbi-looking types. To the cop, I was just another yarmulke wearing slickster. I can think of 3 reasons why the cop let me off – 1. He was incredibly cool (and I think this is true of most NYC cops, they are great) 2. I am incredibly cool (the cop could sense this and didn’t want to mess with my coolness) and 3. (The most likely), Divine Providence To be perfectly frank, I didn’t even try to defend myself. I had my phone out and on, I was in a panic, I admitted my guilt, I was lost, I asked for help, and I had my friend Moshe chime in on my cell phone (now with the speaker phone on).
